    Carmen is a registered psychologist with a forensic endorsement who brings a wealth of experience from working across a range of settings. She supports clients navigating life’s challenges, especially those facing legal pressures or involved in the justice system. Carmen is also in the final stages of completing her supervisor training and is looking forward to mentoring early-career psychologists.

    She has worked with a wide variety of client groups, including:

    - Adolescents and young adults dealing with personal or systemic difficulties
    - Parents seeking support with parenting and family dynamics
    - Adults managing life transitions, stress, and mental health concerns such as addiction
    - Individuals involved with legal systems or experiencing court-related challenges
    - Carmen offers a compassionate, client-centred approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can reflect, grow, and develop strategies to move forward. - She is also a strong advocate for trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care.

    Her therapeutic practice integrates techniques from several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Sensory Modulation.

    As an Australian-born Chinese practitioner, Carmen is passionate about working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She speaks conversational Cantonese and brings a creative, hands-on approach to her work with children, while helping adults build confidence and reach their personal goals.
