    Registered Psychologist
Sahar is a registered psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar, AHPRA), with a Masters
degree in Clinical Psychology. She has also completed a Bachelor of Psychology with
    Honours.

Sahar has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both
government and private practice settings. Her ongoing experience as a school psychologist
uniquely positions her at the forefront of child and adolescent mental health and assessment.
In this role, she works with young people and their families to support their wellbeing and
    promote resilience and independence.

Sahar has a keen interest in psychometric assessment, with experience in cognitive and
academic assessments across the lifespan. She also has experience in ADHD, memory and
attention assessment in young people and adults.

Sahar strives to ensure that sessions are collaborative and tailored to meet the client’s
therapeutic needs. Sahar's therapeutic approach is person-centred and draws from various
evidence-based interventions depending on her clients’ needs and preferences, including
    - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
    - Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Problem Solving Therapy (PST).
Her own ethnic background and life experience allow her to better understand issues faced by individuals from diverse socio-cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Sahar hopes to create a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to foster growth and confidence in their own abilities to overcome difficulties. Sahar recognises that individuals who present in session do not exist on their own, instead they are a culmination of various factors such as their upbringing, their values and belief systems and social groups.
