    Ninwe Esho is Provisional Psychologist and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologist and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy. She has worked in a range of diverse settings with children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and families. She has worked with varying client presentations, including Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, relationship distress, family dysfunction, attachment difficulties, behavioural challenges, and physical impairments.

    Ninwe: Has a warm, genuine, empathetic, approachable, and client-centred approach to therapy.

    Values the importance of establishing and maintaining a trusting client-therapist relationship where safety, comfort, respect, active listening, and unconditional regard exist.
    Recognises that the client is the expert in their lives and believes in the collaborative process of therapy. She encourages and empowers clients to provide feedback and actively engage in co-designing their individualised treatment plan and goals.

    Is passionate about using evidence-based treatment approaches to support and promote quality of life among clients of all ages and from all walks of life.
    Believes that the most change occurs outside of sessions. Therefore, she provides insightful psychoeducation, resources, and tasks for her clients to engage with outside of sessions.
    Is result-oriented and will monitor progress throughout therapy.

    Supports her clients to navigate and overcome challenges in their life whilst helping them commit to their goals and live according to their values.
    Each session with Ninwe is tailored to meet the clients’ personal therapeutic needs. Ninwe draws on many contemporary models of psychotherapy in her practice, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. Ninwe believes psychotherapy can be a rewarding and insightful experience and looks forward to helping you achieve greater understanding, peace, connection, confidence, health, and happiness.
